As soon as the weather changed I signed up for another season of golf at Northern Pines Golf Club. I got together with four other guys and really enjoyed playing with them. During that season I played 80 odd games of nine holes each, and I must say my play certainly improved. I am the oldest member of my club - (89 years).
Having decided to give up driving a car following my last collision with a paraplegic, I was usually taken to the club by either Marsha or Aubrey, and they were quite happy to do this, especially as I had donated my car to Marsha. However, I still retained my drivers license in case of an emergency, etc.
Towards late October 1995, it began to get colder, and of course the golf course was finally shut down.
