My name is Markeith Melville, my father, deceased, is Leslie Melville. Leslie and my Mother Anna were born in Guyana (BG) and my brothers and sister and I were born in the USA. I currently live in Lincoln Ca. While growing up we were told Uncle Alfred and Aunt Emma raised Leslie, but as kids, we never asked questions. We have memories of our visits with Alfred and Emma in Loma Linda and when they lived close to us in Sacramento. We lost touch over the years. at 57 years old, I am now curious about our family background and have questions which I have no one to look to for answers. Uncle Alfreds autobiography answers some of those questions and presents more. I would be grateful if Michael or Gordon, Leslies chums from school, contacted me. Us Guyanese are so diverse and travelled, it would be nice to have contact with someone from my dads early years in BG who could share stories with us.
ReplyDeleteWith respect,
Markeith
